Circle Music at Musicando

A space to explore your voice, connect with others, and experience music in a completely new way.

Circle Music is an inclusive, group-based musical practice where we come together to create music using our voices, bodies, and shared imagination — all in the moment.

These sessions are inspired by the practice of Música do Círculo — a joyful, internationally respected approach to collective music-making through body music, rhythm, improvisation, and creative games.

No experience is needed. Just a willingness to show up and be part of the musical process.

In each session, you’ll be gently guided through musical games and group explorations that help you:

  • Connect with your voice and your body
  • Develop your sense of timing, rhythm, and groove
  • Improve your listening, responsiveness, and musical awareness
  • Explore vocal improvisation in a supportive group setting
  • Experience music as a shared conversation, not a solo performance

These sessions are especially meaningful for:

  • Adults looking for a creative and energising musical experience
  • People who want to develop their musicality without needing sheet music or formal training
  • Singers, instrumentalists, and educators looking to expand their musical vocabulary through the body and voice
  • People who have felt self-conscious about using their voices but are ready to explore them in a safe, supportive, community setting

In the circle, every voice matters. You’ll be seen, heard, and invited to contribute in your own way — no pressure, no judgment.
Everything is an invitation.

Let’s breathe, sound, and move together — and explore what becomes possible when we truly listen to each other.

Circle Music at Musicando is also part of a larger journey: the United in Sound Project — a community initiative dedicated to bringing people together through voice, rhythm, and collective music-making.
